Hey guys, i know its late but I'm REALLY confused about mean mediam and mode for the data managment project. My question is " How many meals do you eat a day?" and the choices were 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 6+, im not sure how to get the mean median or mode out of this... ? PPLLLEEAASEE HELPPP :(

Hi Claire. You use the response to make a data set. So, you take the # of ppl that responded "a" - say there were 3. And "b" had 5 responses. "c" had 6 responses and "d" had 8 responses. You put these in order from smallest to largest 3,5,6,8 and there is your data set. You then find the mean or average, median - most frequently occurring and the mode - middle number. I hope this helps. If you are still confused, leave it for tonight and I'll explain tomorrow. : )

Well, ok, lets say for example, you have three choices; Red, Blue, and Green. Red has 5 votes, Blue has 2 votes, and Green has 5 votes. You would find the 3 m's using the # of votes. So you data set would be 2, 5, 5.you would the 3 m's with that info.
